South East (East) Regional Day – May 2016

On Wednesday 18 May 2016 we had an excellent day, courtesy of the Friends of the Chelmsford Museum. It was held at at the Museum itself, in Chelmsford. The theme for the day was Communications and Strategy and we had two case history presentations about how Friends groups are run in liaison with the professionals.

The day included a Curator’s tour of the Museum with Nick Wickenden, Museum Manager, a demonstration of handling tables and a talk about newsletter design and production. The event was supported by SHARE the Arts Council funded regional museum agency.
