The Friends of The Bowes Museum in Teesdale, Co. Durham, invite members of the BAFM Groups from both regions to spend a day with them in Barnard Castle on Saturday 25th March 2023 from 10.30 am – 3.00pm. (Venue easily accessible from the A1 and A66)
Please make this a date to meet and socialise with members of other Friends Groups. There will be opportunities for discussion on matters of mutual concern, to learn about successes and failures, to gain new ideas and to discover how BAFM can aid groups.
This event celebrates the 250th anniversary of the iconic Silver Swan.
The charge for the day will be £15 including coffee on arrival, a talk by a member of Bowes Museum Staff, a light lunch of soup, cheese scone and coffee, a guided tour. Tickets need to be bought in advance via the Friends’ Office, details of which can be found by contacting Fiona Turnbull on fiona@turnbulls.me.uk
