BAFM is pleased to announce that for the latest version of the Friends of the Year Award, we will be working in partnership with The Marsh Charitable Trust. The Trust was founded by businessman Brian Marsh a number of years ago and it seeks to celebrate volunteering, especially in the arts and heritage sector. The Award  will be funded by the Marsh Charitable Trust and the group selected will be presented with a cheque for £500 and a splendid certificate at the 51st BAFM Conference in Wisbech. The Marsh Charitable Trust works with a number of prestigious institutions, including The British Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Canals and Rivers Trust. The Award will be launched at the beginning of February and we would encourage groups to enter. More details , including entry forms and guidance notes, are available on the BAFM website under ‘Current Awards’ .
