BAFM holds events of interest to all Friends groups throughout the year, with a National Conference and AGM held at a different venue each year, and many local events across the UK. If you are interested in hosting an event please contact your regional co-ordinator. This page also includes details of international events from the World Federation of Friends of Museums (WFFM).
BAFM NATIONAL AWARD EVENT AND AGM – 2021
We will not be holding a conference this year but we would like to invite you to an afternoon Zoom presentation which will showcase the shortlisted entries to our new Impact Award featuring some of the excellent work by our member groups in the last 18 months. The winner will be announced during the event.

Join us on Saturday 13 November at 2.00pm for an exciting afternoon of presentations from shortlisted nominees for the Impact Award 2021 and announcement of the winner.
There will be a special video message from our patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester followed by our AGM.

AGM papers will not be emailed to you. If you have not supplied us with an email address, they have been posted to you.
For speed, we ask that you raise any questions in advance by emailing events@bafm.co.uk. This will allow us to deal more thoroughly with any questions or queries.
Voting: Only one member of each Friends group is entitled to vote on matters at the AGM, so please decide in advance who the voting member will be from your committee if more than one member plans to attend.
