BAFM holds events of interest to all Friends groups throughout the year, with a National Conference and AGM held at a different venue each year, and many local events across the UK. Recruiting and Retaining Members – Online Event 14th June 2022
The last two years have seen groups faced with enormous difficulties as they have striven to continue to operate in support of museums or galleries. Events programmes have been disrupted, fundraising has diminished but most of all, the challenge has been to maintain their membership base. This online event is designed to allow groups to share their successes (and failures?) as they have struggled to retain members and in some cases recruit new ones. The workshop will be held 7pm on 14 June and led by Dave Adgar FRSA , Acting Vice Chair of BAFM. Please see link below
